Create your own unique texture and style of sterling silver bangle in our jewellery making workshop.
Service Description
Experience the traditional skills of jewellery making in a 'Make Your Own' jewellery workshop situated just outside the town of Ellon, Aberdeenshire. During this workshop our founder and qualified teacher, Eilidh Geraghty will guide you through the steps of texturing, forming and soldering a solid silver bangle. Choose from a range of silver wire profiles and apply your own unique texture using a range of our texturing hammers. This class includes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of tuition and one solid silver bangle that you can take away with you at the end of the class. Absolutely no previous making experience necessary - everyone is welcome. This is a super friendly environment where we encourage you to come along and enjoy an evening with new or old friends trying out something new. Please note that good eyesight and a reasonable level of hand dexterity are required. Please bring your glasses if you require help seeing things up close and inform us of any additional support needs in advance. Classes will take place at Cookston Crafts, Ellon, AB41 8DE. Suitable workshop clothing and no open toed shoes for safety reasons please. Workshop bookings are non-refundable or non-transferable unless exceptional circumstances are discussed in advance of your booking. Please note we will do our best to contact you via email and telephone if we need to cancel any classes due to any circumstances outwith our control (e.g. adverse weather, low booking numbers). Class confirmations will be sent via email prior to your booking.
