Make a Silver Ring

Service Description

Experience the traditional skills of jewellery making in a 'Make Your Own' jewellery workshop. During this workshop our qualified teacher, Eilidh Geraghty will guide you through the steps of texturing, forming and soldering one solid sterling silver ring. Choose from a range of silver wire profiles and apply your own unique texture using a range of our texturing hammers. This class includes approx 3 hours of tuition and one silver ring that you can take away with you at the end of the class. No previous making experience necessary. This is a super friendly environment where we encourage you to come along and enjoy trying out something new. Please note that good eyesight and a reasonable level of hand dexterity are required. Please bring your glasses if you require help seeing things up close and inform us of any additional support needs in advance. Classes will take place at Cookston Crafts, Ellon, AB41 8DE. Booking terms and conditions The maximum class size is 6 persons. Adults over the age of 18 only. 16+ years may attend with an accompanying adult/parent - please get in touch to discuss before booking. For 'Teen Plus 1' (teen plus accompanying adult) sessions please call to book out a private date and note there is a minimum of 4 people required for private group bookings. No open toed shoes in workshop. Workshop bookings are non-refundable or non-transferable unless exceptional circumstances are discussed in advance of your booking. Please note we will do our best to contact you via email and telephone if we need to cancel any classes due to any circumstances outwith our control (e.g. adverse weather, low booking numbers). Class confirmations will be sent via email prior to your booking.
