Make Silver Hoops & Studs

Service Description

Experience the traditional skills of jewellery making in a 'Make Your Own' jewellery workshop. During this workshop our founder and qualified teacher, Eilidh Geraghty will guide you through the steps of piercing, texturing, and soldering two sterling silver pairs of earrings. Choose from a selection of silver wires and apply your own unique texture or shape using a range of our texturing hammers and tools. This class includes approx. 3 hours of tuition and two silver earrings that you can take away with you at the end of the class. No previous making experience necessary. This is a super friendly environment where we encourage you to come along and enjoy trying out something new. Please note that good eyesight and hand dexterity are required. Please bring your glasses if you require help seeing things up close and inform us of any additional support needs in advance. Classes will take place at Cookston Crafts, Ellon, AB41 8DE. Feel free to get in touch for help finding availability or to discuss booking out an alternative date for a private group. Thur/Fri classes start at 6.30pm. Sat /Sun classes start at 11.30am. Thur 6 Mar 2025 Sun 18 May 2025 Thur 2 Oct 2025 All equipment provided. Booking terms and conditions Maximum class size is 6 persons. Adults over the age of 18 only. 16+ years may attend with an accompanying adult/parent - please get in touch to discuss before booking. For 'Teen Plus 1' (teen plus accompanying adult) sessions please call to book out a private date (minimum number required for private dates). No open toed shoes please. Workshop bookings are non-refundable or non-transferable unless exceptional circumstances are discussed in advance of your booking. Please note we will do our best to contact you via email and telephone if we need to cancel any classes due to any circumstances outwith our control (e.g. adverse weather, low booking numbers). Class confirmations will be sent via email prior to your booking.
